What are your current funding priorities?

Sage Foundation has just launched the Enterprise Fund - a brand new $1m fund available to charities within Sage’s communities around the world. The fund will support

  • support new initiatives.
  • help organisations raise more income.
  • help organisations enhance existing and proven activity.

Grants of $5,000-$35,000 (£4,000-£28,000) are available.

Are there any applications that you are struggling to bring in that you would encourage?

The fund is open to charities and non-profits delivering change to young people (under 25), women and girls and military veterans lives in our local communities. All applications that fulfil our eligibility criteria will be considered however, we are really keen to support organisations that are currently small but have ambitions to expand, grow and deliver sustainable change.

Are there any key pieces of advice you would give groups to help them submit quality applications and increase their chances of being successful?

We are particularly interested in applications that demonstrate an enterprising approach and innovative solutions to issues in our communities.

When is the next deadline and how do groups go about applying?

The next deadline is 5th April 2017. The $1 million is split across now and the second round will go live in July.
